You can get a sneak preview of our new recorded material in the downloads section. We also have a live DVD recorded at the Bierkeller in Manchester earlier this year. This will be available on request for the time being but will appear on this site in some format soon.
14/6/05: We've just spent the weekend in the studio with Martin Moscrop of A Certain Ratio (ACR) and recorded 2 tracks, 'Hoods Up' and a new slick version of 'Climbing Up the Walls.' Both sound absolutely killer and we'll give you a sneak preview very soon.

10/6/05: Dublin was a blast. Thanks to all who came and especially thanks to The Things. We recommend you go and see The Things when they tour England this month. For dates go to Myspace and you will find The Things are our freind.
16/5/2005: We'll be appearing at the Bud Rising Festival in Dublin on 4th June.
27/3/2005: We'll be supporting the excellent Pink Grease on the 4th April at Club NME at the Bierkeller. We'll be opening so get down early. Keep an eye on relevant message boards for info.
7/3/2005: We've added photos from our trip to Leeds to the gallery.
Coming soon: Bierkeller video. We thought we played a good one that night and video evidence appears to back that claim up! So check back soon for some pretty cool Quicktime movies.
Rumour has it Bane will be doing some studio recording and also supporting Pink Grease pretty soon. Wow, t's all go.
26/1/2005: Gig news: We'll be appearing at the next Blowout night at the Bierkeller in Manchester, on Friday 4th Feb, along with Clor, Sirconical and Towers Of London. Doors: 9pm, 1st band on 9.30, $5. 77 Piccadilly, Manchester, M1 2BU.
Then on the 19th Feb we're supporting Performance at the Bad Sneakers night at the Faversham in Leeds. 7.30- 11pm, club: 11pm- 3am, $4. 1-5 Springfield Mount, Leeds, LS2 9NG.

5/1/2005: Happy new 2005: The year of Bane Overlord. No, really. We have a gig coming up with Jackie O at the Retro Bar, Manchester, on the 14th Jan. The night is called Fight Club. 9/12/2004: Welcome to the new Bane Overlord web site. Its still under construction for the time being (e.g. the links to the MP3s don't work yet) so a few little extra bits to follow over the next couple of weeks.
